This 18-minute-long documentary film takes a leap into the future while revisiting history and the origin of Ngonso. Ngonso is a sacred sculpture of the foundress of the
Nso clan that was of traditional and spiritual signicance to the people of Nso.
Missing for more than a century now, this sculpture was taken away by the Germans during the colonial period and it is being kept in the Berlin Museum.
Several efforts have been made by the Nso community to get back this sculpture.
this film Through the Scribe of Nso History Society and a retired Reverend Pastor, this film explores the historical background of Ngonso, its significance to the return and the challenges faced in getting back the sculpture.
