The Anglophone crisis that has raged in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon for the past five years has greatly affected the inhabitants who are victims of atrocities on a daily basis. In the fray, men, women and children have been murdered and studies disrupted. However, this does not seem to affect the French-speaking regions.
A young woman tries to understand the reasons for the revolt of the Anglo-phones and the indifference of the Francophones. She goes back to the roots, to the history of reunification.
After noticing a great disparity between the history books intended for French-speaking and English-speaking pupils, she engages in conversations with the pupils to know what they know of the history of the country and more precisely of the plebiscite of February 11, 1961 and of the Foumban conference, events marking the reunification of the Republic of Cameroon and Southern Cameroon.
